Nina Soni: Snow Spy

During a snowy Wisconsin weekend, Nina Soni’s family hosts Priya and Nayan, children of her parents’ friends who have recently moved from Florida. Nina and her younger sister Kavita introduce the visitors to building snowmen, sledding, and snowball fights. Nina also notices an unfamiliar person entering the home of an absent neighbor and begins a secret investigation with Priya. Their suspicions prove less dramatic than expected. Nina uses lists to help herself stay focused, while the weekend gives her a chance to build a friendship with Priya and to feel reassured about her continuing friendship with Jay.
