Greymist Fair

In Greymist Fair, Heike learned magic and tailoring from her mother, who once kept the village safe by appeasing a witch. The witch controls wargs, spirits of the dead that kill travelers who leave the forest path. Since her mother’s death, Heike fears she may not know enough to protect the village. Around her are Wenzel, her best friend and an innkeeper; Liesl, grieving a brother killed by wargs; and other villagers and visitors whose histories and choices shape the troubled community. A young tailor’s discovery of a body adds another dark mystery.
