Funeral Songs for Dying Girls

Winifred, a Métis teen, lives with her grieving father on the grounds of Winterson Cemetery. When his job at the struggling crematory is at risk, she fears losing both their home and the ashes of her mother, who died when Win was born. A ghost-tour operator’s visit gives Win an idea, though the supposed sightings were her own. Meanwhile, she encounters Phil, the real ghost of an Indigenous teen whose death near the cemetery slowly comes to light as they grow close.
