Geraldine

Geraldine is the only giraffe at her new school, where every other student is a child. She worries about the first day until she meets a girl who also feels left out. The girl wears glasses, likes mathematics, and arranges her food. Their connection gives Geraldine a friend as she adjusts to school. Geraldine’s body language, especially her expressive neck, conveys many of her feelings. The story explores accepting oneself while remaining open to others.
