Grace for Gus

Grace wants to collect enough money to buy a companion for Gus, the guinea pig in her classroom. After saying goodnight to her two dads, she slips into the city with her violin and performs on a subway platform. She also draws tourist caricatures as a street artist and later dances for money. Before school, Grace gathers what she has earned and returns home to rest. The next day, she brings a substantial contribution to the classroom fund for Gus’s new friend.
