The Outlaw

In a small town resembling the Old West, residents fear the Outlaw, who eventually stops visiting. Years later, a stranger arrives and quietly helps with building and repair work. When townspeople recognize him as the Outlaw, they gather against him. A boy speaks up, saying the man is trying to change, and the crowd begins to disperse. Earlier illustrations show the boy stealing food and suggest that the Outlaw had taken him in. The man continues working to make amends.
