Josie’s Lost Tooth

Josie excels at many things, including monkey bars, running, and reading, but she is the only child in her class who has not lost a tooth. When one finally becomes loose, she tries several ways to speed things up, from hanging upside down to biting an apple and using string. Later, while playing sharks with Richard, Josie falls and the tooth disappears in the grass. Richard offers her a shark tooth for beneath her pillow, and the next morning brings a surprise for both friends.
