The Littlest Yak

Gertie lives with other yaks on a snowy mountaintop. Though she can climb slippery cliffs on her grippy hooves, she is the smallest yak and wishes she were bigger. Her mother explains that being big can mean more than physical size, but Gertie tries diet, exercise, and education in hopes of growing. When an even smaller yak becomes stranded on a narrow mountain ledge, Gertie alone can reach the youngster and bring him home.
