So Much Snow
Hyunmin Park
After snow covers the world overnight, two children head outside to investigate the unusual storm. In this nearly wordless picture book translated from Korean, the children begin by shoveling a passage through the snow and uncover a snowplow. Their route rises higher through the white expanse until the view pulls back to reveal their small vehicle and its long diagonal tunnel. They stack snow, photograph what they have made, and use an enormous pointed yellow object and a very tall ladder to complete their project.
