Snow Horses: A First Night Story

On the snowy final night of the year, two black Percheron horses, Tim and Tom, are harnessed by their driver Jenny to a sleigh decorated with lights and bells. They travel into town for a First Night celebration and give sleigh rides to bundled children. After the children leave, the horses carry older family members and longtime friends, who recall their own childhoods. A small golden dog runs beside the sleigh throughout the night. When the celebration ends, the dog, the passengers, and finally Tim and Tom return home to sleep.
