So Much Snow
Kristen Schroeder, illustrated by Sarah Jacoby
Snow begins on Monday and keeps falling through the week, with the growing depth marked each day. A mouse watches the first flakes, a fox leaps over a drift, and eventually only a moose’s antler shows above the snow. The following week warms quickly, melting the snow and bringing the animals back in reverse order. By Sunday, a mouse rests beneath a blooming wildflower, though fresh flakes appear at the end.
