Seventeen-year-old Megan Allen has moved among high-school friend groups, trying on different identities without finding one that fits. After meeting the charismatic LC at a coffee shop, Megan quickly becomes friends with her. At a party, LC persuades Megan to take molly, and Megan later wakes in LC’s body. Her parents see LC’s appearance but hear Megan’s claim that she is their daughter, while Megan’s own body is at home. Identified by police as a missing girl named Jade, Megan searches for clues about what happened to Jade, LC, and herself.
