Lily’s Cat Mask

Lily is shy and uneasy about beginning school. While shopping for school clothes with her father, she finds a cat mask and takes it with her everywhere, including on her first day in the classroom. Her teacher, Ms. Ito, says the mask cannot be worn during class, but Lily may use it at recess. There she meets another child wearing a cat mask, and the encounter becomes the start of a friendship as Lily adjusts to school in her own way.
