Kaia and the Bees

Kaia can repeat the facts her beekeeper father has taught her about bees and their importance, but she is secretly frightened of them. After a bee lands on her in front of friends, she decides she is ready to accompany her father to the rooftop hives in a child-sized beekeeper suit. She holds a frame covered with bees, then is stung after removing a wet glove. While helping harvest honey, Kaia thinks about the tiny creatures and begins to see them differently when bees become trapped inside a kitchen window.
