Celine Bangura and Bradley Graeme are Afro-British teens in Nottingham who were once best friends but drifted apart in early adolescence. In their final school year, both enter a program offering professional networking and a scholarship for one participant. Celine is funny and guarded after her father left her family. Brad manages OCD with therapy while privately questioning whether he can pursue writing instead of the future his father expects.
