Bittersweet in the Hollow

Linden comes from an Appalachian family in which women inherit different unusual abilities. Her own gift lets her taste other people’s emotions and affects the food she bakes for the family restaurant. A year after vanishing during the annual Moth Festival, Linden still cannot remember why she returned frightened and bloodied. When her friend Dahlia disappears during the same festival and is later found dead, the mystery is tied to the legend of a Moth-Winged Man said to live in the forest.
