All That I Can Fix

Ronney lives in a small Indiana town after animals from a private zoo are released when its owner dies by suicide. Ten-year-old Sam asks Ronney to find his older brother, who has run away, while Ronney worries about Sam, his sister Mina, and his stressed mother. He is also angry with his father, who is recovering from a suicide attempt and living with depression. As townspeople arm themselves in response to the animals, the story addresses danger, family strain, friendship, and the consequences of guns.
