Albert’s Tree
Jenni Desmond
After hibernating, Albert the bear returns to his favorite tree, only to hear what sounds like the tree crying. Albert, Rabbit, and Caribou try several ways to cheer it, including digging holes and gathering grass, but nothing works. When Albert finally hugs the tree and asks what is wrong, he learns that the fearful voice belongs to a tiny owl nesting inside it. After their surprising meeting, Albert and Owl discover that they both care deeply about the tree.
