Twenty-nine poems are arranged as rooms in a metaphorical Wonder House, with twelve spaces organized around subjects including curiosity, nature, science, time, imagination, mystery, and wishes. Each subject receives two to four poems with complementary and contrasting approaches. Nature poems include rain and thunder, while science poems feature an entomologist studying whirligig beetles and a crystal’s interior. Dreamy, muted-palette backgrounds accompany the poems.
