Unclaimed Baggage

Three teens spend a summer unpacking and cataloging lost luggage at an Alabama resale shop. Doris, a liberal feminist in a conservative Christian community, is grieving the recent death of her aunt. Grant is a former star athlete whose drinking led to a public downfall, and he struggles to stop drinking and forgive himself. Nell has moved from Illinois and misses the boyfriend she left behind. As Doris and Nell become friends, they support Grant’s recovery, while Nell confronts white privilege when her biracial boyfriend visits.
