The Puppets of Spelhorst: A Norendy Tale

Five puppets once owned by a lonely sea captain share the feeling that they belong in a story, even as each pursues a separate desire. The wolf wants to use her teeth for destruction; the owl wants to fly; the king wants authority; the boy wants significance; and the girl wants to see the world. Given to sisters Emma and Martha, the puppets become the center of Emma’s play, though mishaps disrupt them before the performance begins.
