The Perfect Siesta
Pato Mena
A cool breeze arrives in a hot rain forest, and a jaguar decides to take a short siesta before something important he must do. He asks a coati to wake him in ten minutes. The coati also falls asleep after asking a cockatiel for the same favor, and the request passes from animal to animal. Each one succumbs to the pleasant breeze. At last, a sloth struggles to remain awake but falls asleep in the final minute of the jaguar’s nap.
