Tidy
Emily Gravett
Pete the badger wants everything around him neat. His habit begins with collecting a fallen leaf, but it keeps escalating until the forest is destroyed. Pete digs up the trees and covers the forest floor with cement. When this leaves him without food, he must undo what he has done, breaking up the cement and restoring the forest to its messy natural state. The story follows the consequences of taking a desire for order to an extreme.
