The Museum of Everything

When the world feels large, noisy, or busy, a child narrator examines small parts of it one at a time and imagines them as museum collections. The book visits museums of things to wonder about, islands, bushes, hiding places, shadows, sky, and little things. Along the way, the narrator asks questions such as whether a rock in a puddle can be an island or what exists between streetlights. The artwork combines painting, collage, shadow boxes, sketches, sculptures, and photographs.
