The Legend of Tiger and Tail-Flower
Lee Gee Eun, illustrated by Lee Gee Eun, Aerin Park
Tiger is a large, solitary forest bully until a talking dandelion sprouts from the end of his tail. The flower connects with the other animals, which feel sorry that it is attached to Tiger. In separate episodes, it makes Tiger help rescue a chicken egg and assist animals crossing a river. Over changing seasons, Tiger and the flower develop a bond, and Tiger begins to recognize the value of treating others well. When the dandelion becomes white and fluffy, Tiger’s fur also turns white.
