The Fastest Tortoise in Town

Barbara Hendricks, a leopard tortoise, enters a race and worries she cannot keep up. Her friend Lorraine offers training ideas and reminds her to focus on her own effort rather than the other animals passing by. On race day, Barbara is reluctant to leave her shell, then surveys competitors including a slug, snail, slow loris, sloth, and walrus. She reaches the starting line and follows Lorraine’s advice to run her own race.
