Seventeen-year-old Bo Clark has spent a year preparing for the day she turns eighteen. Her plan is to leave town with her younger siblings, Kate and Zach, so the three of them can escape their abusive guardian, Uncle Jack. After the siblings’ traumatic time in separate foster homes, Bo is determined to keep them together. She believes the prize money from a boxing tournament could make their departure possible. Bo trains and secretly fights male opponents in an illegal club, while Jack seeks to profit from her talent.
