Ju-Girl loves time in her granddad’s garage, where she helps with radiators, batteries, and oil changes and enjoys arranging his socket wrenches. During breaks, they sit on the tailgate of his old blue pickup as she drinks Ting and hears stories from the time when he drove the truck to jobs around the island. Although the pickup no longer runs, it is later repaired. Granddad and Ju-Girl drive through their parish as he remembers people and places, and he gives her her own wrench set.
