Sorry, Snail
Tracy Subisak
Ari is angry, and dancing does not ease her feelings. She directs insults at a snail in the yard, which retreats. That night, Ms. Snail visits Ari and says the insults ruined her day, asking for an apology. Ari’s first apology lacks sincerity. The next day, Ms. Snail returns with a group of snails who support her request, and Ari becomes upset that they have spoiled her day. Remembering that she hurt Ms. Snail, Ari makes an apology through chalk art and a speech.
