Snow Pony and the Seven Miniature Ponies
Christian Trimmer, illustrated by Jessie Sima
Snow Pony and Charmaine perform song-and-dance routines for children visiting their farm. Their popularity frustrates Queenie, another horse, who leads Snow Pony into the forest with apples. After becoming lost, Snow Pony finds a stable occupied by seven miniature ponies with varied pursuits, including beekeeping and gardening. Although she enjoys their company and they value her talents, she misses Charmaine and the farm. Back home, the children are unimpressed by Queenie’s activities. This Snow White-inspired story follows Snow Pony’s eventual reunion with Charmaine.
