Owl Bat Bat Owl
Marie-Louise Fitzpatrick
In this wordless picture book, a mother owl and three owlets sleep on the upper side of a branch while a bat family settles beneath them. The youngest owl and youngest bat are interested in each other, though the adults intervene. A powerful wind scatters both families, sending the adults searching through the air for their young. As they rescue whichever little one they reach, the two families come together in safety and form a friendship.
