Play with Me!

Nico the bear and Pip the pig both hope to spend time playing together, but they imagine very different activities. Pip proposes games such as ball, dolls, hopscotch, blocks, dress-up, and hide-and-seek, while Nico remains absorbed in his cello. Their disagreement grows until they realize the problem is a misunderstanding about what “play” means. Just as Pip prepares to leave, Nico finds a new activity they can share: making music, with Nico on cello and Pip on drum. Their experience shows how clear communication can help friends find common ground.
