In this wordless story, Oscar stays in a city apartment building with a woman after saying goodbye to his mother. A visit to a neighborhood nursery leads him to choose seed packets and plant them in small containers. Over several days, the seedlings grow, including a sunflower taller than Oscar. As greenery fills the apartment, Oscar and the woman load plants into his wagon and bring them to families elsewhere in the building.
