Not Your Sidekick

In 22nd-century North America, superpowers became widespread after chemical warfare. Sixteen-year-old Jess Tran is the daughter of C-Class superheroes but has no meta-abilities of her own. She takes an internship at a robotics company and finds that her crush, Abby Jones, works there too. The company is run by the town’s villains, the Mischiefs, and Abby is secretly connected to them. When Abby’s parents disappear, she suspects a celebrated superhero may be responsible, drawing Jess into the mystery.
