Not If I See You First

Parker Grant, blind since the childhood car accident that killed her mother, faces another loss when her father dies from an overdose. Her father had helped her become independent, and Parker struggles to believe his death was anything but accidental. She begins reconsidering earlier choices, her friendships, and ways she has overlooked other people’s feelings and difficulties. Those around her include Scott, a former boyfriend she rejected after an eighth-grade betrayal; her best friend Sarah; and her cousin Sheila, whose family moved so Parker could remain where she was. The novel also includes humor alongside Parker’s grief.
