My First ABC

Katie leads an alphabetical tour of familiar moments in her life, moving from an airplane overhead to members of her family, a jar used for painting water, and her baby brother, Olly. She and Olly play in the garden while the airplane passes, and the alphabet entries return to daily objects, activities, and people. Katie calls her brother annoying at times, but names him as an important part of the journey. Illustrations also show the children’s neighborhood, including other residents.
