Mulan sets out to find medicine for Xiu, her younger sister, after Xiu is bitten by a spider that is actually the shapeshifting demon Daji. Jade Rabbit, an immortal healer, tells Mulan that two difficult ingredients are needed, including one kept in the Queen of the Immortals’ garden. Riding Black Wind, Mulan travels with Jade Rabbit while Daji and Red Fox try to mislead and trap her. As Jade Rabbit weakens from the same bite, Mulan increasingly directs their search.
