Miles Morales: Spider-Man

Miles Morales is a Black and Puerto Rican scholarship student from a low-income Brooklyn neighborhood attending an elite preparatory school. He wants to succeed for his family and community while carrying the secret that he is Spider-Man; only his friend Ganke knows. Miles was transformed after a spider bite during a visit with his late uncle Aaron, a former convict his parents had barred him from seeing. He worries about inheriting his uncle’s path and confronts racism from a teacher as well as pressures beyond his powers.
