An owl has a shiny red balloon, and a monkey wants it because it would suit his outfit for school. Once the monkey shows interest, the owl sees the balloon as especially valuable and rejects offers including a teddy bear, a sunflower, and a robot. An old sock changes his mind, however, particularly when he notices its star and its hole. Then the monkey begins to see the sock differently, too, and considers keeping it.
