I Forgive Alex: A Simple Story about Understanding
Kerascoët
At school, Alex plays keep-away with a basketball in the wet yard while another child displays drawings on a bench. Alex throws the ball over several classmates, and it lands on the artwork, sending the drawings into a puddle and ruining them. Already frustrated by Alex’s game, the other children respond angrily, and Alex is embarrassed and remorseful. After school, the child who made the drawings approaches Alex, and they talk and shake hands. The classmates then forgive Alex, and his drawing of the two children playing basketball helps repair the situation the next day.
