Moon is a gifted nature artist and works the tour’s merchandise table with Santiago, the founder’s biracial Colombian-white brother. Moon sees herself as markedly different from Star in appearance and beliefs, and her mother’s cruel treatment causes her pain. Santiago initially seems quiet and irritable, but Moon’s sharp exchanges with him amuse him.
