Have You Seen Gordon?

Gordon, a purple anteater, appears among many animals in a detailed animal world. A narrator offers clues to help readers find him, but Gordon deliberately draws attention to himself. The search then shifts to Jane, a shy blue hippo construction worker who tries to avoid notice by hiding. Soon the narrator loses control of the game and asks readers to locate a growing assortment of people, animals, objects, and food in the crowded scenes.
