Fawn's Blood: A Novel

Fawn and Silver came out as trans together in their small Maryland town, share a fascination with vampires, and have begun secretly kissing during sleepovers. In their world, vampires are pursued, jailed, and killed because they are considered dangerous to humans. Elsewhere, in Seattle, Rachel belongs to her mother’s vampire-slaying vigilante group, but her loyalties shift after she is bitten by her mother’s enemy and wakes with a need for blood.
