After the Shot Drops

Bunny’s move to St. Sebastian’s on a basketball scholarship leaves many people in his old neighborhood feeling betrayed, including his best friend, Nasir. At his new private school, Bunny relies on basketball to fit in while confronting class and racial differences, though college recruiters now pay close attention to him. Nasir is worried about his cousin Wallace, who faces eviction from their changing building. As Bunny and Nasir tentatively try to repair their friendship, relationships, family pressures, and a bet against Bunny’s team raise the stakes.
