A Brave Bear
Sean Taylor, illustrated by Emily Hughes
On a very hot day, a father bear and his small son head to the river to cool down. The journey is difficult for Little Bear, who makes observations about the things he sees and does, including jumping, being brave, and getting wet. He also tries to impress his father with a large jump across rocks. Their day at the river ends with the two bears traveling home through glowing sunlight.
