You Can Do It, Bert!

Bert, a small orange bird, faces an important moment at the end of a branch. Although he checks his preparation, he repeatedly retreats toward his nest, once emerging with a banana and later looking worried. An off-page voice urges him on. Bert finally runs and jumps, falling into the water below, where his float-wearing friends have been waiting. He is delighted by what he has accomplished.
