Sabrina Parry lives in a Welsh mining town and tries to keep her job while helping secure a future for her sickly sister, Ceridwen. When Ceridwen disappears into the woods, leaving an iron ring behind, Sabrina enters Eu Gwald, or fairyland, to search for her. The place is more dangerous than she expected, and a fae prince offers assistance in exchange for a risky bargain. Sabrina learns that such bargains exact a price.
