Where’s Rodney?
Carmen Bogan
Rodney prefers movement and the outdoors to sitting inside at school. Although he expects a field trip to visit the small park near his city neighborhood, the bus travels beyond the city, past fields and through a mountain tunnel. It arrives at a much larger park, where Rodney can climb, run, shout, and pause to notice small details. His day outside gives him room to explore in ways the familiar neighborhood park does not.
