What Will Grow?

Twelve kinds of seeds appear in descriptive rhyming pairs, each followed by a question about what the seed will become. Visual clues invite guesses before the plant is named in words and pictures. Intermittent foldout pages show different parts of growth, including carrots beneath the ground and a tall pine tree above it. The final pages add information about each seed and describe four stages in the transformation from seed to plant. The book follows seeds through seasonal change and plant development.
