What if a Fish
Anika Fajardo
After a sudden change to his summer plans, eleven-year-old Eddie travels from Minnesota to Cartagena, Colombia, where his late father was from. He meets his eighteen-year-old half-brother, who is caring for their ill grandmother. Eddie hopes his brother will teach him to fish as their father once taught him, especially with a fishing contest waiting at home. Their grandmother shares stories about Eddie’s father and helps Eddie experience Colombia. After her death, the brothers return to Minnesota together.
